During May 4, 2026, intense activity by the Israeli Air Force was reported in southern Lebanon. According to Al-Mayadeen channel, which is affiliated with the Axis of Resistance and covers events from a pro-Hezbollah perspective, a number of targeted strike sorties were carried out.
Al-Mayadeen correspondents reported that Israeli aircraft struck the town of Qalawiya, as well as the area located between the towns of Western Zoutar and Eastern Zoutar. At the same time, Al-Mayadeen noted that the towns of Burj Qalawiya, Deir Qanoun, and Srifa were also struck, and an additional strike in Eastern Zoutar was confirmed.
In further reports by Al-Mayadeen channel, an airstrike against the town of Braachit was noted, as well as a report on aircraft strikes against the towns of Shaqra and Touline. The Beirut Time channel echoed these reports, focusing on the geographic distribution of the strikes across the south.
