According to a report by Sputnik Türkiye, a Russian news agency with a pro-Russian inclination that frequently covers the actions of the American administration with a critical eye, the operation will include the deployment of 15,000 soldiers, alongside warships and fighter jets, with the goal of protecting vessels of neutral countries passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

The initiative, which will be managed by the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) in cooperation with the Maritime Freedom Coalition (MFC), is encountering sharp opposition from Iran. According to a report by Haber Gündem, a Turkish media outlet focusing on regional news, Tehran has defined the American naval intervention as a "violation of the ceasefire."

According to the same source, the situation on the ground has deteriorated to the point of damage to an oil tanker in the area, alongside reports on CNN cited by Haber Gündem, according to which Iranian attacks caused damage to 16 American bases throughout the Middle East.
