Throughout the day (May 3, 2026), active engagement was identified among several Telegram channels presenting themselves as news, military current affairs, and international conflict reporting outlets, such as خبرفوری ࡆ اخبارفوری مذاکره ࡆ جنگ فوری, خبرفوری جنگ🚨اخبارفوری امریکا فوری, and خبرفوری‌نیوز | اخبار جنگ | حمله امریکا. The channels, which accumulated a total of approximately 17,985 views, deviated from their reporting role and transitioned to intensive promotion of Virtual Private Network (VPN) services.

According to the posts on the channel خبرفوری ࡆ اخبارفوری مذاکره ࡆ جنگ فوری, the channel offers a "free trial period" and browsing services at a price of "89 thousand Toman per gigabyte," while presenting comparative marketing arguments: "Why pay 300 to 400 per gigabyte?" The channel pledges a "stable connection without disconnections" and promises an "unconditional refund" for customers who purchase the service through a dedicated bot.

It should be noted that this is a recurring pattern of operation in these channels, which mix dramatic headlines about wars and politics with distinct commercial content. The contrast between the news content maintained by these channels and the blatant commercialization raises questions regarding the reliability of the information distributed therein. At the same time, a complete departure from news topics was also identified in channels such as کانال فوتبال برتر ࡆ لیگ برتر 360, which engaged in similar promotion of communication services and VPNs instead of sports coverage.
