[48169] Updates from the Ukrainian capital: widespread fires and changes at the ATB supermarket chain
A chain of fires in the Ukrainian capital
Over the past 24 hours, the city of Kyiv has experienced several fire incidents in various locations. Київ Головне reported a large-scale fire in the Obolon district that began on May 2 in a two-story house and spread to two adjacent buildings. According to this channel, the fire consumed an area of about 400 square meters, but the incident concluded without any casualties. A similar description was published by Київ | Times, which noted that firefighting forces were operating at the scene in Pushcha-Vodytsia. At the same time, the channels Реальний Київ | Украина and Київ | Times reported additional blazes in the Left Bank area and the DVRZ area, indicating a busy day for rescue services in the city.
Changes to the schedule at the ATB chain
On the consumer level, the popular supermarket chain ATB has announced a change in its service policy. Times of Ukraine reports that starting from May 3, the chain will stop service to customers every day at 9:00 AM in order to observe a nationwide "moment of silence." It should be noted that this channel takes a distinctly pro-Ukrainian line in its content.
Unusual events in the city
Meanwhile, the channel Київ Головне shared unusual footage of a coffin being transported via a tram in the city, an event defined as part of the eclectic reality of Kyiv these days.
