For fifth-grade students, a grade of at least 50% is required in each subject, with an additional 5 possible bonus points.
- Secondary schools: Students in the first and second years of intermediate school, and the fourth and fifth years of high school, are considered successful if they achieved the minimum grade in all subjects. A student will be eligible for a supplementary exam if they failed a maximum of 3 subjects, after the addition of 5 bonus points.
Warnings and clarifications
As noted in the report by نيمار ابن الانبار || iraqedu, if a student fails more than 3 subjects (in intermediate and high school), they will be considered to have failed the entire year.
