On the other hand, the Amir Ettinger & Yuval Segev channel notes that Tropper is careful to maintain ambiguity and has not declared his intentions publicly. According to their report, Tropper "does not say who he will go with" and is in close contact with both Naftali Bennett and Gadi Eizenkot. Ettinger and Segev estimate that both these options are on the table, but emphasize that "we will wait and see."
