Over the past weekend, a sharp increase in mutual aerial activity was recorded between Russia and Ukraine. According to a report by the DD Geopolitics channel, which is aligned with pro-Russian positions, the Leningrad region repelled a "massive attack" during which over 60 unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted. According to the Bellum Acta channel, which takes a critical line toward Iran and Hamas but presents technical military coverage, the primary target was the oil terminal at the port of Primorsk, where a fire broke out, but no oil leaks were reported.

At the same time, Russian forces carried out a series of strikes against energy infrastructure in Ukraine. According to the TabZ channel, a channel with a pro-Ukrainian and Western orientation, "Geran-2" type drones struck energy infrastructure in the Chornomorsk area of Odessa. Similar reports also came from the WarFront Witness channel, which noted that power outages were recorded in the cities of Ilyichevsk and Alexandrovka following the strikes.

In the military review by the Two Majors channel, a Russian channel reporting on the bureaucratic and military difficulties in the campaign, it was claimed that although the scope of the Ukrainian attacks does not create "critical damage to the local economy," the systematic use of drones creates a significant strain on Russia's air defense systems. The channel added that among official echelons in Russia, there is visible criticism regarding the bureaucratic handling of approving technological defense measures, such as lasers and drone jammers.

In the ground combat arena, Defense Politics Asia reported on the continued artillery activity of Russian forces in the Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions, utilizing observational assistance from micro-drones. At the same time, geopolitical tension continues, as the DD Geopolitics channel reported on Donald Trump's intention to examine plans regarding Iran and his positions on the issue of Cuba, which indicates the spillover of the focus on the war into the political agenda in the United States.
