According to extensive reports in Arab media outlets relying on Israeli sources, it was decided to cancel the Security Cabinet meeting that was supposed to convene this evening. Instead of the planned meeting, limited "مشاورات أمنية" (security consultations) are expected to take place.

Al Jazeera and Maariv explicitly reported the cancellation of the meeting, while Shehab Agency and Quds Network indicate that it is a postponement of the extended political and security meeting. Additional sources, including Ha-Hed, claimed that the alternative date for the meeting has been pushed to this coming Wednesday.

Earlier, entities identified with "Combat Media" (الإعلام الحربي), such as the Media War Channel, reported that Israel's Channel 12 updated on the existence of the meeting planned for 19:30 to discuss a number of fronts. However, later reports from the same channels, such as Rased Al-Adu, confirmed the change in the discussion format and the shift to limited consultations.
