Reports from local Telegram channels indicate activity of unmanned aerial vehicles in the Kyiv region this evening, May 2, 2026. According to the reports, about ten vehicles were observed in the airspace surrounding the Ukrainian capital, performing maneuvers near the settlements of Baryshivka and Pereiaslav.

The Київське небо channel, which reports continuously on the state of the skies above the capital, noted that "about 10 remain, they are not approaching Kyiv, they are performing maneuvers near Baryshivka and Pereiaslav" according to their report. The channel focuses primarily on alerts and air defense reports for residents of the area.

At the same time, the Труха⚡️Київ channel confirmed the details and added that according to monitoring sources, the vehicles are not entering the airspace of the city of Kyiv itself at this stage as noted on the channel. Both channels are identified with field reports and are focused on tracking security alerts for the citizens of Kyiv and its surroundings.

As of this hour, security officials have not yet released a detailed official statement regarding the nature of the vehicles or their origin, but monitoring on the ground continues to ensure there is no immediate threat to the city center.
