[46803] Escalation in Southern Lebanon: Extensive Airstrikes and Exchanges of Fire in the Nabatieh Region

On May 2, 2026, Al-Mayadeen Channel reported an intense day of combat in Southern Lebanon, including a series of Israeli airstrikes and operations by the "Resistance." According to Al-Mayadeen, an Israeli airstrike on a house in the town of Al-Brija at dawn left "3 martyrs."

Media outlets are reporting extensive strikes in various locations. Al-Mayadeen Channel reported an airstrike in the center of the city of Nabatieh, as well as strikes in the villages of Abba, Adashit, Zoutar el-Charqiyeh, Mayfadoun, Choukin, Kfarchouba, and Majdal Zoun.
