[46335] Wave of publications on Russian soldier casualties: dozens of names published online
Update on casualties among Russian forces
During May 2, 2026, the Telegram channel Горюшко, which focuses on documenting casualties and fatalities among the Russian army, published a long list of names of soldiers who were killed. The channel, which is identified with strict monitoring of casualties and fatalities in the war, listed in its publications more than 25 names of soldiers, including Eduard Solomin, Viktor Gerstenberger, and others, while noting the identification numbers of the deceased.
In parallel, the Telegram channel Всевидящее ОКО 18 ✙, which adopts a distinctly critical and pro-Ukrainian line, published a concise and cynical reference to these data under the title "Ulanovich?".
The list of names published on Горюшко includes soldiers of various ranks and uses hashtags such as "#ЧВКурка" and "#чмобіdick", which reflect mockery of the command ranks and the forced recruitment of soldiers. This publication is part of the ongoing activity of these channels in the information war, where the attempt to document casualties is used as a tool to influence morale and public perception regarding the cost of the fighting.
