Wave of sales and discounts in retail chains in Ukraine ahead of May

Ahead of the month of May, retail chains and marketing groups across Ukraine are reporting aggressive promotions aimed at attracting customers to grooming products, basic food supplies, and picnic equipment. Various Telegram channels are publishing a variety of time-limited benefits, starting from May 1st through the middle of the month.

The Prostor chain reports significant discounts of up to 50% on grooming and cosmetic products, including international brands like L'Oréal and Pupa, alongside sales on cleaning and laundry products. The company has also launched a campaign offering its customers a chance to win a couple's trip to Paris.

In the food sector, chains like Silpo are offering reduced prices on seafood (shrimp) as part of the "Цінотижики" (Price Hedgehogs) promotion, while the Obzhora chain is advertising "3 Days of Benefits" with discounts on basic picnic items such as meat, fresh vegetables, and ice cream. The Эпицентр FOOD & HOME chain is joining the move under the "ЦІНОЗНИЖ" (Price Drop) brand, offering significant discounts on meat products, fish, snacks, and dairy products.

The ready-to-eat food segment is recording particularly intense competition. The Sushi Boss chain is offering a "Super-Box" of over a kilogram of sushi at a significant discount, while the Budusushi chain is offering similar promotions on one-kilogram and 1.4-kilogram sushi sets to its customers. The Ковбасна Мережа chain also updated on meat and cheese promotions that will last until May 20, 2026.
