The message was distributed on the Telegram channels Daniel Amram without censorship and Carmel News - News, which reported together on the Rabbi's words to his audience of students.

As part of his remarks, Rabbi Eliyahu shared an inspiring personal story about his father, Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu of blessed memory, ten days before the outbreak of the Six-Day War. According to his testimony, his father decided to forgo the traditional pilgrimage to Meron on Lag BaOmer after he felt that Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai was calling him to be alongside the soldiers in the staging areas: "You are with the soldiers."

Rabbi Eliyahu emphasized the deep connection between the holiday's tradition and the current security reality of the State of Israel. According to him, "Rabbi Shimon is with us, with the soldiers, and with the entire people of Israel. He fights the enemies of Israel, and we continue this path even today."
