Law enforcement authorities in Kyiv, with the assistance of the Cyber Police and the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine, exposed the activities of a criminal call center that carried out fraud amounting to over $500,000 against United States citizens. According to information published by Оперативний ЗСУ, the center's managers recruited personnel with excellent English proficiency, including individuals from West African countries, the U.S., and the European Union, to conduct "cold calls" to victims. After the funds were transferred to fake investment platforms, the criminals moved the cash to crypto wallets under their control and severed all contact with the victims.

During a raid conducted by the forces on the operational hubs, numerous technological items were seized, including computer equipment, mobile phones, and databases of victims.
