Intense fighting is being recorded in southern Lebanon. The Hezbollah organization has claimed responsibility for a broad series of attacks against IDF forces, using suicide drones, anti-tank missiles, and artillery. The attacks were directed at force concentrations, Merkava tanks, and D9 bulldozers in several locations, including Al-Khiam, Deir Seryan, and Rachaaf, and the organization even published videos documenting hits on engineering vehicles. Conversely, the IDF conducted a broad wave of aerial and artillery strikes deep inside Lebanon, which included hitting approximately 65 military targets in the Tyre and Nabatieh districts and eliminating dozens of terrorists, while calling for the evacuation of several villages. The IDF cleared for publication that a soldier from the Golani Brigade fell in battle. Parallel to the fighting, "productive" talks are being reported in Washington under the auspices of the US in an attempt to reach a settlement.

On the international front, US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping held a summit in Beijing where they agreed to tighten strategic relations. Trump declared that China would purchase oil and agricultural products from the US, and that both powers share an interest in preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, despite intelligence tension and mutual espionage. Conversely, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi declared that his country is the winner of the regional campaign and has proven its superiority against the powers.
