[96171] Draft law in Ukraine: Sending recruitment staff to the front instead of administrative roles
Proposal for structural change in the Ukrainian recruitment system
Against the backdrop of ongoing operational needs, Ukrainian Member of Parliament Yuliia Yatsyk has raised a proposal for a radical change in the role of TCC (Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers) staff. According to her, it is possible to form full military units composed of these staff members who have been found fit for military service and send them directly to the front.
Reports from social networks
The report, which has gained wide resonance among Ukrainian Telegram channels, notes that "from the fit TCC staff, it is possible to form full military units and send them to the front." According to the channel Всевидящее ОКО, which takes a distinctly pro-Ukrainian line, as well as according to the channel Україна Сьогодні | Новини, this is a move intended to utilize existing manpower to the fullest.
The channel Юрист пише…, which deals with legal analysis of the situation in Ukraine, expanded and noted that Yatsyk emphasizes the need for deep reform in the recruitment system. According to the channel, "the MP noted that some of the administrative roles of the TCC should be transferred to other structures," which would allow for the transition of current employees into active combatants.
The proposal reflects the growing public and political pressure in Ukraine to find additional manpower for combat units, while re-examining rear-echelon roles and military bureaucratic mechanisms.
