Over the past day, the end of a round of air alerts over Kyiv was reported. The Telegram channel Київ ІНФО | Новини Україна, which constantly monitors security developments in Ukraine, updated its followers that "no more missiles have been observed" and called on residents to wait for an official announcement regarding the full removal of the alert.

At the same time, explanations were given for the intense noises heard in the area that alarmed residents. According to Київ ІНФО | Новини Україна, the intense sounds heard are a "Mach cone" – a physical phenomenon created when an object moves at a speed higher than the speed of sound.

The channel Київський купол | Графіки, which specializes in monitoring airspace, reinforced the assessment that no actual attack was carried out within their range of vision. In a post published at this link, the channel clarified that "there is no fixation" (meaning no hostile targets were identified on radar systems) and also noted that the noises in question are the result of a "Mach cone".

As of the latest update, there are no reports of damage or casualties, and the situation is defined as quiet after a tense period of alerts.
