The Kyiv region police arrested a 38-year-old man who broke into a residential apartment in Bucha and sexually assaulted an 8-year-old girl in the middle of the night.

Law enforcement authorities in Ukraine have arrested a 38-year-old man for breaking into a residential apartment in Bucha and committing indecent acts on an 8-year-old girl. According to reports from local channels, the incident occurred on June 14 at approximately 3:00 AM.
According to the report by Реальний Київ | Украина, the suspect entered the apartment through a ground-floor window and reached the room where the girl was sleeping. There, according to the report, he began touching her. When the girl started screaming, her mother arrived at the scene and the suspect fled the apartment through the window.
In an additional report by Київ | Times, it was noted that the attacker touched the girl's private parts. The local sources, which are not identified with a declared political opinion and are focused on ongoing criminal reports, emphasized the severity of the act.
According to ✙ Київ Оперативний | Kyiv Operative ✙, the suspect was located and arrested by the police in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The Kyiv District Prosecutor's Office has filed charges against him for two offenses: sexual assault and illegal entry into a residence.
