Broad civilian mobilization to support Ukrainian fighters
Today, June 16, 2026, a wave of emergency fundraising was reported on social media, aimed at strengthening the operational capabilities of the Ukrainian army. Various channels are reporting urgent needs for technical equipment, vehicles, and protective gear, using online payment systems such as Monobank and PayPal.
The channel ОПЕРАТИВНИЙ ІНФОРМ has launched a campaign to raise 120,000 Hryvnia for the purchase of materials for producing camouflage nets, noting that "every camouflage net helps hide positions, equipment, and personnel" from enemy reconnaissance.
At the same time, Александр Коваленко – a channel that demonstrates clear support for Ukraine and sharp criticism of Russia and its leadership – reported that fighters of the 92nd Separate Assault Brigade need 250,000 Hryvnia to purchase ATVs. For the exact same target amount, the journalist Юлія Кирієнко appealed to the public to assist the 82nd Air Assault Brigade in purchasing an operational vehicle.
Finally, Дмитро Чекалкин, a channel expressing clear anti-Russian positions and criticism of key international figures, emphasized that the needs of the 67th, 56th, 122nd, and 143rd brigades are "extremely urgent." The list of requested equipment includes radio sets, portable batteries, tourniquets, ruggedized tablets, and optical sights, with the author urging followers to participate in the funding "to ensure a strong rear and support for the defenders of Ukraine."
