Massive aerial attack on Kyiv

Tonight (June 15, 2026), Kyiv was under a combined and large-scale aerial attack. According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, waves of "Shahed"-type UAVs and cruise missiles (CR) made their way toward the capital from several directions, passing through areas such as Brovary, Boryspil, Vasylkiv, and Ivankiv.

The Realnyi Kyiv channel reported dozens of unmanned aerial vehicles moving toward central districts of Kyiv, including Obolon, Podil, Dnipro, and Livoberezhnyi. Additional Telegram channels such as Truha⚡️Kyiv and Kyiv INFO noted that there were over 30 UAVs over the city, alongside waves of cruise missiles. Truha⚡️Kyiv even reported an impact identified in the Obolon area.

The situation on the ground was described as difficult. Kyiv INFO stated that "there are interceptions, but the number of targets is still very high," while urging residents to remain in shelters. The monitoring channel monitor also confirmed the movement of more than 15 UAVs on their way to Brovary and from there to Kyiv, highlighting the prolonged sequence of attacks.

While most reports focused on the Kyiv region, the Truha⚡️Dnipro channel reported UAVs on their way to the city of Dnipro, which indicates an attack that spread across vast areas of Ukraine. All channels covering the event are identified with a clear pro-Ukrainian line, emphasizing the official reports of the Air Force and the need for the population to enter protected spaces.
