Deadly attack on Dnipro: Dozens of casualties under the rubble

During the night of June 2, the city of Dnipro was attacked by Russian forces, leading to heavy casualties and extensive infrastructure damage. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS), the death toll has risen to six, including a rescue worker, and 36 people have been injured. Reports indicate that the Russians carried out a "double-tap" attack while rescue forces were operating at the scene, which also resulted in damage to a fire station.

The Regional Administration (OVA) reported earlier five deaths and 25 injuries, with 23 of them evacuated to hospitals. Among the injured, a 13-year-old girl was mentioned in moderate condition, and three others in serious condition. Other sources, including SUSPILNE NOVYNY, emphasized that two- and four-story houses were hit, and rescue operations are still ongoing under the building rubble.

In an earlier report by TSN novyny, it was noted that the city was under an intensive attack aimed at residential areas. Local media outlets like Dnipro Operatyvnyi added that simultaneously with the attack in Dnipro, there were reports of additional casualties in the city of Kamianske.
