Today, May 31, 2026, several military units operating in friction points in Ukraine report a critical shortage of basic equipment and transportation. According to the reports, the lack of vehicles impairs the fighters' ability to maneuver under fire, perform medical evacuations, and transport ammunition to the front lines.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the 100th OMBr emphasizes that "without a reliable vehicle, the fighters have no chance" to survive the harsh battle conditions. A similar call came from the 153rd Brigade, who reported that they lost their last off-road vehicle, which makes their soldiers "easy targets for enemy drones." The 95th Separate Air Assault Brigade, operating in the Pokrovsk sector, also reports that the fighters are in "inhumane conditions" and the shortage of evacuation vehicles means that the wounded are left on the battlefield without rapid medical response.
At the same time, the 19th Brigade published an appeal for technological means, with an emphasis on "Chuika 3.0" drone detectors. The report, published on a channel with a clear pro-Ukrainian orientation that emphasizes the struggle against Russia and its proxies, noted that the unit needs the equipment to continue intercepting "Shahed" UAVs. It is worth noting that this channel managed to complete the necessary fundraising of 90,000 Hryvnia over the weekend.
The reports highlight the heavy burden on the units at the front line and the army's increasing reliance on civilian crowdsourcing to fill rapid equipment gaps in dynamic combat conditions.
