Accelerated Fundraising for Advanced Drone Technologies

Over the past 24 hours, Serhiy Sternenko (STERNENKO), a prominent Ukrainian activist associated with widespread support for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, announced the launch of a "secret fundraising round" aimed at raising 50 million hryvnias for the purchase of a new generation of FPV drones. According to the information, the new tools are capable of flying distances of over 50 km and are resistant to electronic warfare (EW), which enables "striking enemy forces deep in their rear" and in occupied territories.

The initiative, which is being carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and the Brave1 project, is intended to equip 27 military units with 1,350 FPV drones, 40 relays, and 50 launchers. To encourage the public to donate, the headquarters is offering prize raffles, including a Volvo XC60 vehicle. Sternenko notes that since the beginning of the month, over 2,500 drones have already been purchased, representing about 51% of the monthly target, and the total number of drones purchased by them since the beginning of the war stands at approximately 276,850 units.

At the same time, other channels are reporting similar efforts in the field of arms procurement. The channel Тарас Григорович повідомляє has launched a fundraiser directed toward the maintenance of the news channel and the development of technological capabilities, in cooperation with the local drone manufacturer SkyFall. Conversely, the channel Жабич мовить 🇺🇦 is working to raise funds for the purchase of drone detectors for the forces, using raffle mechanisms for the benefit of donors.

These activities illustrate the high involvement of civil society in Ukraine in the direct financing of military technological needs, while using crowdfunding platforms as a central tool for achieving tactical superiority on the battlefield.
