During May 20, 2026, Ukraine experienced a widespread wave of air alerts. According to reports from the НУ І ДНІПРО! 🇺🇦 channel, which is associated with ongoing operational reports from the Dnipro region, numerous infiltrations of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were recorded, moving along changing routes over the cities of Dnipro, Kamianske, and their surroundings. The channel updated on the movement of various types of UAVs, including "guided jet UAVs," and noted that some of them performed decoy maneuvers over populated areas.
At the same time, alerts were also activated in the Kyiv region. The Реальний Київ | Украина channel reported an alarm due to the threat of three UAVs from the Cherkasy region moving toward the Bila Tserkva district, while the Труха⚡️Київ channel called on residents to enter shelters due to the identification of additional UAVs in the area. All alerts in the Kyiv region subsequently ended without reports of casualties.
The situation in the Dnipro region was more complex. According to reports by НУ І ДНІПРО! 🇺🇦, which cited data from the Air Command, at least five groups of UAVs were observed arriving from the Kherson region and moving toward Nikopol and Pokrov. Monitoring entities on the єРадар channel confirmed the presence of jet-powered and guided craft in the region's skies. Toward the end of the night, several sources, including Труха⚡️Дніпро, reported an additional alert due to a threat of "ballistic missiles launched from the Taganrog area."
While most reports focused on tracking the flight paths of the craft and providing defense instructions, the НУ І ДНІПРО! 🇺🇦 channel noted with irony the tense routine of the residents: "While you are sleeping, we are tracking the UAVs." However, some of the noises heard in certain areas were defined by Труха⚡️Київ as "noises without a threat," and there were even reports of unusual weather phenomena such as thunder and lightning that sometimes misled residents.
