During May 19, 2026, Ukraine experienced a significant wave of airstrikes using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the attacks spread across several regions, including Kyiv, Sumy, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, and the Dnipro region, as Ukrainian forces worked to monitor and intercept the threats.

The city of Odesa faced a significant threat, as Одесса INFO reported about 12 drones moving toward the city center and the port. Later, Новости Одесса updated that up to 21 drones were identified approaching from the direction of the Black Sea, with detailed warning calls for residents of neighborhoods such as Arcadia and the Little Fontan.

At the same time, the Dnipro region suffered a multi-point attack. Труха⚡️Дніпро reported explosions heard in the city and the identification of drones moving toward industrial areas and nearby settlements such as Kamianske and Obukhivka. At the peak of the tension, local channels like НУ І ДНІПРО! reported the identification of drones near densely populated areas, alongside momentary reports of ballistic threats that were later lifted.

The reports highlight the high intensity of the attacks, as channels like Лачен пише, which is identified with a clear pro-Ukrainian stance and supports the war effort, noted that over 20 drones were heading to Odesa alone. The Ukrainian systems remained on high alert throughout the night while continuously updating the public on the paths of the hostile vehicles.
