Consumer Updates: Weekend promotions in Ukrainian retail chains
Ahead of the weekend of May 16, 2026, several leading retail chains in Ukraine are reporting significant discounts on a wide range of products. The updates come from several Telegram channels covering daily life in major cities.
The Silpo chain, reporting to audiences in cities like Dnipro and Kyiv, has announced promotions valid until May 20, including discounts of up to 44% on dairy products such as "Roshen" butter, as well as discounts on "Pepsi" brand beverages and gourmet cheeses. At the same time, the FOZZY chain is offering more aggressive discounts, reaching up to 58% on products such as Gouda cheese and "Rud" ice creams, alongside price cuts on basic consumer goods like fresh vegetables and toilet paper.
In another sector, the Fora chain has launched a "Weekend of Discounts" initiative active on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. According to the channel, the chain is offering promotions on "Lavazza" coffee (at a 46% discount) and on a variety of staples such as "Ferma" milk and pasta products from the "Chumak" company. The Levyy Bereg channel, which tracks the reports, emphasizes the importance of following the chains' Telegram channels to stay "on the wave of discounts."
Additionally, the ROZETKA FASHION platform is offering unique discounts to customers who pay using a "Rozetka card." The promotions include personal care products from "Vichy," cleaning supplies from "Persil," and footwear from the company "Puma." The company emphasizes that these are additional discounts given on products already priced at a discount, with the aim of encouraging the use of the platform's dedicated payment method.
