Wide-scale aerial attack wave on Kyiv and Ukrainian regions

Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine has been under a combined and massive aerial attack. According to reports on local Telegram channels, repeated waves of "Shahed" UAVs and ballistic missiles were directed at the capital, Kyiv, its suburbs, and other cities such as Odesa, Bila Tserkva, and Zaporizhzhia.

The Київ | Times channel reported a direct hit on a gas station on the Boryspil road and the total destruction of a residential floor in the city, which led to the evacuation of four wounded to hospitals, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko. At the same time, the monitor channel documented dozens of UAVs penetrating the airspace of the Kyiv region in changing paths, while attempting to attack critical infrastructure.

Official bodies, led by Повітряні Сили ЗС України, confirmed the dangerous trend, as UAVs were launched from the south and from the Poltava and Chernihiv regions towards the center. Київський купол | Графіки noted at the peak of the attack that over 30 hostile aircraft were identified simultaneously in the airspace of the Kyiv region.

Simultaneously, reports from Новости Одесса | Одеса pointed to similar attacks directed at the Chornomorsk area and the port of Odesa, which indicates the wide scope of Russia's attacks. Additional channels such as Труха⚡️Київ and Реальний Київ | Украина provided real-time updates on targets such as Brovary, Vasylkiv, and Obukhiv, while operating the national alert systems non-stop.

As of the afternoon of May 14, 2026, while in certain areas of the Kyiv region the situation was defined as "clear" by monitor, the aerial threat remains at a high level due to the continued movement of UAVs from neighboring regions.
