During the morning of May 14, 2026, a large-scale air strike was reported in the Kyiv region. According to reports from the monitor channel, which focuses on military reports from Ukraine, several groups of cruise missiles were identified moving from the direction of Nizhyn towards the Kyiv district. According to monitor, the missiles made their way toward the Kyiv Reservoir and continued from there toward the north of the capital.
The Telegram channel Лачен пише, which is identified with a clear Ukrainian stance and provides real-time updates on the status of the front, warned that the estimated arrival time of the missiles to the capital region was only about 5 minutes (according to the report).
At the same time, the Aeris Rimor channel provided ongoing updates on the missiles' trajectory. According to Aeris Rimor, the missiles were moving at speeds of 500-600 km/h and were aimed at the reservoir area near Vyshhorod. The channel noted that "the missiles are already in the Kyiv district" and that they were observed on their way to the Zalissia park area.
As of this time, the situation remains tense as residents of the area have been called upon to follow the instructions of the Ukrainian Home Front Command due to the actual penetration of weaponry into the capital's airspace.
