During the night of May 14, 2026, a large-scale air strike was reported in the skies over Ukraine, with the focus of reports being Kyiv Oblast. According to the military channel monitor, known for closely tracking air movements in real-time, 6 groups of cruise missiles (КР) were identified penetrating the oblast's airspace. The report noted that the missiles were moving east from the direction of Zviahel (Звягель) toward the cities of Brovary (Бровари) and Boryspil (Бориспіль) according to monitor.

At the same time, monitor updated on additional groups of missiles navigating south of Kyiv. Two groups were identified moving from the Tarashcha (Тараща) area toward Uzyn (Узин) and Obukhiv (Обухів) according to this report. Later, the channel updated on two additional groups of cruise missiles from the Stavyshche (Ставище) area moving toward the same targets: Uzyn, Kaharlyk (Кагарлик), and Obukhiv according to an additional update.
