Widespread Russian air attack wave across several Ukrainian regions

Throughout the day, May 13, 2026, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported a series of intensive air strikes by Russian forces across the country. Reports indicate repeated use of guided aerial bombs (KAB) and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against several regions.

According to official updates, the Ukrainian Air Force recorded glide bomb launches toward the Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and northern Sumy regions. The northern sector of the Kharkiv region also sustained heavy bombardment; the Air Force reported multiple waves of attacks, a figure also confirmed by Suspilne Kharkiv, which covers developments on the ground and relays military command warnings to residents.

In addition to the bomb strikes, the Air Force identified drone activity: in the Kyiv region, an unmanned aerial vehicle was identified in the Chernobyl area, while in the Kharkiv region, drones were reported entering toward Pechenihy from the north.
