On May 12, 2026, the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) began discussing the prosecution's request to set a conditional sentence in the form of arrest with the possibility of release on bail of 180 million hryvnias for former Head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak. At the same time, law enforcement authorities in Ukraine, led by NABU and SAPO, filed charges against six other individuals involved in a money laundering case totaling approximately 460 million hryvnias. Among the suspects mentioned, according to reports from Українська правда and LIGA.net, are former Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov and businessman Timur Mindich.

According to the investigation, the laundering was carried out through a prestigious construction project of a cottage complex in the village of Kozyn, Kyiv Oblast, during 2021-2025. During an official briefing by NABU, the head of the organization, Semyon Kryvonos, clarified that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is not a figure in the investigation, adding that the investigation into the properties in question is still ongoing (Реальний Київ). It was also noted that the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Rustem Umerov, was questioned only as a witness (Реальна Війна).
