Extensive wave of UAV attacks in Ukraine

Tonight (May 12, 2026), intense activity of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) was reported in the skies over Ukraine. According to the monitoring channel monitor, which focuses on documenting the war map and enemy movements from a pro-Ukrainian perspective, several waves of attacks were identified moving along various routes.

Initially, 6 new UAVs were reported to have entered through the Sumy region (Konotop and Romny areas), according to monitor. Shortly thereafter, sources on the ground, including ЗСУ ДВІЖ △💪🇺🇦 (a channel associated with the Armed Forces of Ukraine), confirmed the information regarding the incursion of the vehicles through Sumy.

The attacks continued to spread along additional paths. According to monitor, 8 UAVs made their way through the Pryluky region toward Pyriatyn, and simultaneously, 8 additional UAVs were reported moving from Khmilnyk toward the Khmelnytskyi region. Sources note that some of the vehicles followed entry routes used by previous waves during the night.

As of this hour, local authorities have not yet released official data on damages or interceptions, but the aerial activity is described as unusual in its scale and geographic distribution.
