A night of drone attacks in the Dnipro region

The night (May 12, 2026) was marked by widespread attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the Dnipro region. The Telegram channel Дніпро Alerts 🚀 🚨, associated with real-time alert reports for residents of the area, updated throughout the night on the movement of a large number of drones, referred to by the channel as "mopeds."

According to reports from Дніпро Alerts, the aircraft maneuvered in various areas while changing their route toward the city of Dnipro from the north, leading to the declaration of a "red" alert status. The channel noted that some of the vehicles were equipped with cameras and operated live ("Online керований"). At the same time, the channel НУ І ДНІПРО! 🇺🇦 reported a risk of impact in the industrial zone on the left bank of the city and called on residents to follow protection instructions.

The military activity spanned across vast areas. Дніпро Alerts reported during the night hours that about 10 drones were moving along the borders of the region in the Kryvorizkyi area, while individual units scanned the territories in the northern part of the region. During the events, residents were instructed by the channels to report any sightings using the "ePPO" app.

Towards the morning hours, the situation partially stabilized. According to an official update from the Дніпро Alerts channel, as of 07:00, most areas were cleared of alerts, with the main hubs remaining under surveillance being the Nikopol district and eastern areas near the front line. Local authorities have not yet released official data on the extent of the damage or casualties resulting from the nighttime attacks.
