Unmanned aerial vehicles were identified in various areas of the Dnipropetrovsk region, leading to the activation of alerts and reports of airstrike attempts.
Drone attack in the Dnipropetrovsk region
During the morning of May 12, 2026, reports were received of hostile activity by unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine. The channel Реальный Днепр ⚡️Кривой Рог | Дніпро Світло, which provides ongoing reports on security events in the region, updated that drones were identified on their way to Lykhivka in the Kamianske district and also on their way to the Solone area from the south.
At the same time, the channel НУ І ДНІПРО! 🇺🇦, which also operates in the region, reported on the alert status in the Kamianske district. The channel noted ironically that "the dome wasn't paid for, so the drone alert is only for the district", a statement indicating dissatisfaction with the conduct of air defense systems in this area.
Both channels are identified with local residents in Dnipro, who transmit real-time reports on security alerts, while maintaining a clear pro-Ukrainian line and reporting on the wartime reality on the ground. As of now, there have been no reports of significant damage or the results of interceptions, but residents of the area have been called to obey the instructions of the Home Front Command.
