A wave of exposures of internal corruption and assistance to the enemy across Ukraine

Authorities in Ukraine reported on May 11, 2026, on a series of enforcement actions against criminal elements exploiting the state of war for personal gain. The primary focus of the reports is the exposure of an extensive corruption network in hospitals in Zaporizhzhia, where, according to reports by the National Police of Ukraine as published in Труха⚡️Україна, medical staff forged disability documents for about 500 draft dodgers, netting profits of over 200 million hryvnia.

According to the TSN channel, the authorities have already filed indictments against six senior medical officials and their accomplices, and confiscated assets and vehicles worth tens of millions of hryvnia. In reports by Новинач, it was noted that alongside the Zaporizhzhia affair, additional cases of similar fraud and attempts by hostile elements to undermine national security were exposed.

In the security sector, the Безпечний Район channel reported the arrest of a suspect in Odesa for treason. The man is suspected of providing Russia with precise coordinates of air defense systems and military locations via Google Maps. Concurrently, in the north of the country, law enforcement authorities in Volyn exposed a person who sold vehicles intended for the military for personal profit.

Enforcement against illegal attempts to leave the country also continues in the border sector. According to a report from Безпечний Район, a network was arrested in the Uzhhorod region that offered draft dodgers "smuggling routes" at a cost of $4,000 per person, while using someone impersonating a border guard. Another case reported on UA Stream details a significant fine imposed on a woman who tried to cross the border with a fake disability certificate and attempted to bribe security personnel.
