Hostile activity in Sumy region: Reports of UAV penetration
This morning, May 11, 2026, there were reports of intense activity of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the skies over the Sumy region in northeastern Ukraine. This is an ongoing incident involving the detection of aerial attack assets in the border area.
According to the Telegram channel 🔊⚠️єРадар | Повітряна тривога | Ракетна небезпеקה, which reports air raid alerts in real-time, movement of UAVs was identified in the Krasnopillia area. The channel, which serves as a primary source of information for citizens regarding alerts, confirmed the penetration into the airspace.
At the same time, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine issued an official update stating that UAVs were identified in the Khotin area, moving on a "southerly course." The Air Force, the body authorized to manage the defense of Ukraine's skies, continues to monitor the movement of the vehicles.
Residents of the area have been called to stay in shelters following these threats. As of now, no damage or casualties have been reported as a result of this activity.
