The Ukrainian capital experienced a turbulent weekend with several reports of serious traffic incidents. According to the Реальний Київ | Украина channel, a minor driver behind the wheel of a "Zhiguli" vehicle collided with a semi-trailer truck near Internationalists Park in the city.

At the same time, accumulating reports point to a serious incident in the Osokorky neighborhood. According to ✙ Київ Оперативний | Kyiv Operative ✙, a driver of a Volkswagen vehicle "was intoxicated" and caused damage to seven parked vehicles on Sofia Rusova Street, while striking a pedestrian who tried to stop him. Eyewitnesses harshly criticized the police's handling of the incident, noting that "the police said they would not break down the door" and did not take a formal statement from the victim. However, the Левый Берег Киев channel later reported that the authorities managed to arrest the suspect and open administrative proceedings against him.

In another case of road endangerment, a Kyiv resident reported to ✙ Київ Оперативний | Kyiv Operative ✙ about a teenager riding an electric scooter who collided with her vehicle at high speed near the Taryan Towers residential complex, causing damage estimated at $1,000. According to the report, the teenager fled the scene instead of waiting for help or a medical examination.

The reports reflect a growing sense of frustration among the capital's residents regarding the enforcement of traffic laws and the authorities' handling of vandalism and recklessness on the roads, with citizens demanding stricter parental involvement and harsher legal treatment of traffic offenders, especially when minors are involved.
