[54573] Online Criticism: Russian television broadcasts featured AI-generated aircraft
Embarrassment on air: Did Russia use artificial intelligence to fake the military parade?
Widespread reports in Ukrainian media outlets and Telegram channels point to an embarrassing revelation in Russian television broadcasts surrounding the events of the latest military parade. According to a report by the channel На хую пиздение, which is identified with a distinct Ukrainian stance and support for the war effort, the footage of the aircraft presented as part of the aerial display was actually a product of artificial intelligence, rather than realistic documentation of actual aircraft.
The criticism focuses on the poor quality of the editing, which revealed glaring errors. According to the channel Новини: Україна | Головний | Політика, sharp-eyed users noticed that the flags of NATO and EU countries, including France, Germany, Poland, and Canada, inexplicably appeared on the fuselage of the aircraft in the broadcast. The channel notes that this is a "total failure," as alongside the foreign national markings, the camera movement in the footage deviated from accepted laws of physics.
The claims were also raised by the channel Реальна Війна | Україна | Новини, which emphasizes that this is a "crude forgery" of Russian systems. The channel АТАСМS - УКРАЇНА 🇺🇦 also joined the criticism, claiming it was a failed attempt to display military power that does not exist in reality using computer editing tools. As of now, official Russian sources have not responded to the allegations regarding the use of AI technology in these broadcasts.
