During the last 24 hours, intense hostile activity of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) was reported across eastern and northern Ukraine. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the body responsible for the country's sky defense, issued a series of urgent alerts throughout the day on May 9, 2026, indicating multi-directional attacks.

According to official updates, the regions that sustained the most activity are the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia districts. In Kharkiv, reports emerged of drones approaching the city from several directions, including from the north and northwest.
