Throughout the day (May 7, 2026), widespread efforts were reported on social media to raise funds for various units of the Ukrainian army. A variety of Telegram channels reported urgent needs in the field, with an emphasis on purchasing vehicles, generators, and technological combat equipment.

According to the channel Реальна Війна | Україна | Новини, soldiers from the 97th Brigade in the Huliaipole area are in urgent need of a vehicle, claiming they are in a difficult physical state and that "they can no longer stand the madness happening there." At the same time, the channel Левый Берег Киев published an urgent call for the 92nd Brigade, noting that "the fighters are marching into hell on foot" and need an off-road vehicle for evacuating the wounded and transporting ammunition. Blogger Александр Коваленко added that the 92nd Brigade needs 250,000 Hryvnia for the purchase of ATVs.

Additional technological needs were reported by a variety of sources: КЛОЧОК launched a fundraiser for the 118th Brigade including generators and technical equipment, while Переможний Магдіяж requested assistance in funding laptops for the "Eyes" battalion (425). Likewise, Жабич мовить 🇺🇦 reported that an enemy technology warfare center needs 100,000 Hryvnia to repair critical generators.

In the Air Assault Forces (DSHV) sector, the force command marked the anniversary of the establishment of the 421st Drone Battalion, praising the "precision and innovative technology" of the unit as noted on the DSHV channel. Additionally, the Lobby X ARMY project published a list of open positions for the 10th "Edelweiss" Brigade, highlighting the need for personnel in various roles ranging from drivers to cyber experts.
