Discovery of a Russian UAV warhead in the Desnianskyi District of Kyiv

During a walk in a wooded area in the Desnianskyi District of Kyiv, a local resident located the warhead of a Russian "Geran-2" UAV (also known as "Shahed"). According to a report by the Реальний Київ | Украина channel, police bomb disposal experts were called to the scene, secured the find, and removed it for controlled destruction at a designated training ground.

The Левый Берег Киев channel noted that the area was immediately cordoned off upon the arrival of security forces. According to their update, the find was located in a condition that required immediate handling by explosives experts (according to this report).

In a further report by Київ city, it was clarified that "according to initial assessments, these are the remains of a UAV launched by Russia during a combined attack." Security officials continued to warn the public not to approach or touch suspicious objects in open areas and to report them immediately to emergency services, as published on the UA Stream channel.
