A shocking case has been uncovered in Brovary, in the Kyiv region, when a 38-year-old mother was arrested after it was discovered that she had hidden the body of her two-year-old son inside a closet in her home. According to reports from Лачен пише, the police arrived at the scene following a report from the child's grandmother, who had complained about his disappearance.

According to information published on ХК 🇺🇦 Київ, the woman, who is unemployed, lived with her two children while her husband serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The report claims that the mother suffered from alcohol consumption issues and was being treated with antidepressants. When the toddler felt unwell, the mother did not provide him with medical assistance, and he passed away in his bed. To cover up the incident, she placed the body in a box inside a closet and told her family members that the child was hospitalized due to poisoning.
