[48784] Zelensky imposes sanctions on Andriy Bohdan; wave of violence in major cities in Ukraine
Sanctions against former senior officials and key figures
President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree imposing sanctions on five individuals, including the former Head of the Office of the President, Andriy Bohdan. According to reports on Ukraine NOW, the sanctions were imposed following actions that threaten the "national interests, security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Ukraine." The restrictions include freezing assets, prohibiting economic activity, and the revocation of state awards for a period of ten years.
Among the other figures identified, as detailed in Цензор.НЕТ (a source emphasizing military analysis and news), are businessman Bohdan Pokich, linked to Viktor Medvedchuk, as well as Russian sports figures and business activists suspected of bypassing sanctions. The Telegram channel associated with 'United Front' highlighted that this is part of a broader move of "new rounds of sanctions" being prepared by the government in cooperation with international partners.
Violence and road incidents in major cities
Alongside political news, there were reports of violence in major cities. Реальна Війна, a channel that generally maintains a pro-government line, reported a shooting incident in Kyiv near the "Respublika" mall following a "banal road dispute." Eyewitnesses, as noted in Труха⚡️Київ, managed to disarm the shooter and detain him until the police arrived.
At the same time, a shooting incident at a bus stop was reported in Lviv. According to ЦАПЛІЄНКО_UKRAINE FIGHTS, the police arrested the suspect in the shooting, with the situation remaining under observation by local channels such as Львівич.
Involvement of recruitment vehicles (TCC) in accidents
Another sensitive issue that emerged in the reports is the involvement of military recruitment (TCC) vehicles in traffic accidents. Київ Головне reported on a TCC "bus"-type vehicle that committed a traffic violation and hit a Glovo courier in Kyiv. Similar reports appeared in ЕвроМайдан, an entity that sometimes reports on tense cases between the population and recruitment authorities, which highlighted public criticism regarding the conduct of drivers of security vehicles.
