During the day of May 3, 2026, several Ukrainian sources reported military progress by Russian forces in the Donetsk sector. According to data from DeepState, a research organization associated with military map analysis in Ukraine, the enemy recorded territorial gains near the settlements of Berestok and Ivanopillia.
The report by DeepState was verified and also published by major media outlets in the country. The website Censor.NET (which maintains a distinct pro-Ukrainian line and sharply criticizes Russia) noted in its report that this involves an advance near Berestok, which is located in the Illinivka rural community of the Kramatorsk district, and near Ivanopillia in the Kostiantynivka urban community.
The ZN.UA network also published a similar report relying on DeepState's map analysis, confirming the changes on the ground. As of now, Ukrainian security authorities have not provided further details beyond the update of tactical maps indicating continuous Russian pressure on the aforementioned front line.
