[47402] Large-scale air attack on Ukraine: Missile and drone alerts in Dnipro region
Russian forces launched a combined air attack including Shahed drones and ballistic missiles, leading to the activation of widespread air raid alerts in the Dnipro region and the city of Kryvyi Rih.
Wave of air strikes in Dnipro region
Over the past 24 hours, intense Russian military activity has been reported in Ukraine. According to the Дніпро Alerts 🚀 🚨 channel, which is associated with ongoing operational reports on alerts in the region, the enemy carried out a "massive attack using 'Geran-2 / Shahed-136' aerial strike assets," accompanied by the use of missiles and strategic aviation activity. The volume of drones deployed was estimated at over 100 vehicles, spread from the Vinnytsia region to the Sumy region.
A central focus of the attack was the Kryvyi Rih area, where red alerts were activated following the detection of "high-speed targets" and the constant presence of drones arriving from the south and southeast. According to an official report by Дніпро Alerts, launches of "ballistic missiles from the Crimean Peninsula" were also detected, leading to the declaration of a heightened state of emergency in the region.
Simultaneously with the activity in the Dnipro region, strikes were reported in other cities such as Pavlohrad, where residents were asked to head to shelters after drones changed course toward the city. Emergency authorities and reporting channels continued to provide updates on the dynamic situation, with a high alert declared in most parts of the region due to fear of direct hits from unmanned aerial vehicles.
It should be noted that additional Telegram channels such as Київський купол | Графіки and Україна Online: Новини | Політика, which are used to disseminate official information and promote security awareness among citizens, issued calls for residents to stay updated with official information and exercise extreme caution. The reports are characterized by a clear pro-Ukrainian stance, focusing on immediate reporting of threats and defense instructions for the civilian population.
