Huge promotions in Ukrainian supermarket chains ahead of the weekend

Ahead of the weekend of May 2, 2026, supermarket chains in Ukraine are launching a series of significant promotions aimed at attracting consumers through discounts on food and basic consumer goods.

According to the channel Львівич | Новини, which focuses on regional news, the 'Silpo' chain is running the "Цінотижики" (Price Hedgehogs) promotions until May 6. As part of this, the chain is offering "raw defrosted king prawns" at a price of 29.90 UAH per 100 grams, with a purchase of 2 to 10 kilograms.

At the same time, the 'Fora' chain has launched a "Weekend of discounts" (Вікенд знижок). As reported in Труха⚡️Київ, a channel known for quick updates on happenings in the capital, the chain is offering a series of aggressive discounts:

• Meat: Pork shashlik is offered at 17.90 UAH per 100 grams (a 28% discount).


• Food products: 'Shchedro' ketchup is sold at 22.90 UAH (a 57% discount), and 'Molokiya' butter at 69.90 UAH (a 43% discount).


• Alcohol and beverages: Prosecco wine from the Roccabaro brand is offered at 239 UAH (46% discount), and 'Zakarpatska' beer at 23.90 UAH (46% discount).

The publications reflect the effort of major retailers to encourage consumer activity during the current period through promotions that emphasize savings on staple goods and leisure products.
