[45203] Wave of air raid alerts across Ukraine on April 30, 2026
Wave of air raid alerts and attacks across Ukraine
Throughout the day, April 30, 2026, Ukraine experienced a series of widespread air raid alerts. According to reports from the channel НУ І ДНІПРО!, residents of the Dnipro region were instructed to take shelter following a "drone threat" in industrial areas. Concurrently, local media outlets, including Дніпро Оперативний and Реальный Днепр, reported a series of alarms in the Dnipro district as well as the Synelnykove and Nikopol districts, including warnings of a "guided aerial bomb (KAB) threat."
In the Kharkiv sector, the channel Суспільне Харків reported a tense situation throughout the day, with sirens activated and deactivated intermittently across the city and the region. Media sources noted that while the city of Kharkiv recorded an "all-clear for the air raid alert," the alert continued to remain in effect in the Kharkiv region for a long time thereafter.
In addition, alerts were recorded in other areas: Суспільне Одеса and Суспільне Херсон reported emergency situations in the Odessa and Kherson regions respectively, although most of these alerts were cancelled later in the day. The reports were based on announcements from official and local Ukrainian media outlets, which provided real-time updates for the residents.
It is worth noting that the reporting channels maintain a distinct pro-Ukrainian line, emphasizing the need to evacuate to protected spaces during attacks, without presenting opposing sides or reports from the Russian side regarding the results of the strikes.
