On the morning of April 30, 2026, Ukraine once again commemorated the memory of those killed in the war. Media outlets and official sources across the country report that at exactly 09:00, the entire country halts its daily routine for a national minute of silence.
According to the channel Львівич | Новини, this is a memorial ceremony for all those who "sacrificed their lives for Ukraine." At the same time, the channel ТСН новини, which presents a clear pro-Ukrainian stance, emphasizes that it is a "daily ritual of gratitude, respect, and remembrance" dedicated to both military personnel and civilians killed as a result of Russian aggression.
The Kyiv Regional Military Administration noted that at this moment, the country freezes to pay tribute to the fallen. Similar descriptions appeared from Україна Сьогодні and Суспільне Херсон, which emphasize that this is a commemoration of the victims of "Russia's armed aggression."
