This morning, July 2, 2026, a series of incursions by "jet-powered" unmanned aerial vehicles was reported over the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv and its surroundings. The reports indicate significant movement of hostile aircraft in several key areas.

According to the Київ ІНФО | Новини Україна channel (which focuses on real-time reports of events on the ground), jet-powered drones were identified in the Obolon area and were on their way to the Troieshchyna (Troya) neighborhood. Simultaneously, the Київ Головне channel (which is close to official and security reports on the ground) confirmed the incursion of the aircraft into the Troieshchyna area, while calling on residents to remain vigilant.

Earlier, Київ Головне reported on a drone that crossed the border from the north toward the Brovary area, heading toward the capital. Later in the day, an additional report was received from the channel that another hostile aircraft was moving toward the Darnytskyi district.
