According to reports, 430 administrative managers (Mülki İdare Amirleri) were transferred from their positions as part of a presidential decree published in the 'Official Gazette' (Resmi Gazete).

According to Sputnik Türkiye, a news agency identified with the Russian government's positions and which often covers the Turkish administration favorably, the changes have a direct impact on the country's major cities. Under the decree, 5 Kaymakams (district governors) were replaced in Istanbul, 4 in Ankara, and 6 in Izmir.
